At the Republican Hindu Coalition event that was held for Donald Trump on Saturday, where he said he is a “big fan of Hindu” and wants to be “best friends with India”, an Indian interviewer held possibly the most cringe-worthy interview with him.

Saurabh Shukla, who is the editor-in-chief of Newsmobile, was reporting on behalf of Times Now and called Donald Trump “the real man”, against his opponents spreading theories about him.

He also asked whether as a “real man”, would Trump apologise to the women who have come out with allegations of sexual assault against him.

They also spoke about terrorism where he only said India and Pakistan should “get along”, a very demure statement from an otherwise brazen man.

Shalabh Kumar, who organised the event as the head of the Republican Hindu Coalition, also chimed in with his support for Trump, saying the trade between India and America would improve under his leadership.

The anchor was so overwhelmed that at one point, he had a Freudian slip calling the Republican candidate Donald “Tramp”.

This could very well be one of the few instances where Trump isn’t the one being embarrassing but the people next to him are – a rare feat.
