The Quint published an investigative report titled Dadri Lynching: FIR Against Akhlaq’s Family a Conspiracy? on 10 August. It was an inquiry into an FIR filed by a group of villagers from Bisada, Dadri, against Md Akhlaq’s family, almost 10 months after he succumbed to mob lynching. We found that two of the key witnesses in the case are relatives of an accused in Akhlaq’s murder. Also, the entire narrative leading up to the complaint is too conveniently put together.

The reactions from our readers were varied, spanning a wide spectrum. Some comments were polarised and political, while some were funny and logical.

We decided to curate a few comments to give you a sense what some people among us actually think about the Dadri incident.
