Congratulations Microsoft on Windows 1.0 Turning 32

Windows 1.0 for PCs was introduced this day, 32 years ago.

Microsoft introduced Windows 1.0 for computers on November 10, 1983. The operating environment was introduced for retail almost two years later, on November 20, 1985, as a graphical operating system shell for MS-DOS in response to the growing interest in GUIs.
