Coal Minister Piyush Goyal met his Saudi counterpart in Abu Dhabi last week, ending with a customary handshake while they posed for camera. But can you spot what’s wrong with the picture? On the table are two flags representing the two countries. And what went unnoticed by Piyush Goyal, the internet picked up quite easily. If we know our tricolour (and we do), the saffron is definitely not at the bottom.

Recently, Foreign Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj had demanded an apology from Amazon for selling a tricolour doormat. The minister had also warned that any Amazon representative will not be granted a visa unless the product was delisted.

Social media is wondering why the coal minister did not notice the incorrect tricolour. However, this is not the first time that a minister has been caught in such a situation. Two years ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also caught in the same spot when he was meeting his counterpart Shinzo Abe on the sidelines of ASEAN Summit.
