Caught On Cam: Kerala Youths Attack Elephant and Calf

The incident created social media furore which led to the youths surrendering.

A video, showing four young men pelting stones at an elephant and her calf in Wayanad region of Kerala dated 25 March 2016, has emerged.

The incident was captured by another person seated in a car parked some distance away from the accused. The person recording the act was heard talking over the phone may be to an official, detailing the car number and lamenting about the behaviour.

Identified as Riyas, Shamal Hashim, M Shameer, Abdul Razaq, the four have surrendered after angry social media users posted the car details, as per media reports.
