Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tweeted on April Fool’s Day asking Friends sitcom star Matthew Perry (aka Chandler) for a rematch. The tweet came after Perry mentioned on the Jimmy Kimmel show last month that he, along with his friend, had actually once beaten up Trudeau in fifth grade in Canada.

Here’s what the Canadian Prime Minister tweeted.

In typical Chandler fashion, Perry hastily backed down.

Perry had said on Jimmy Kimmel Live last month, “My friend ... who was also in the fifth grade in Canada, reminded me that we actually beat up Justin Trudeau. We both beat him up. I think he was excelling in a sport that we weren't, so it was pure jealousy.” He downplayed any animosity, however, by saying, "You know, I'm not bragging about this. This is terrible. I was a stupid kid, I didn't want to beat him up."
