On 29 June, Paula Godwin set out for a morning hike with her two dogs, Todd and Copper. Little did she know that Todd, her golden retriever, would save her from a rattlesnake.
Narrating the incident on Facebook, Paula said that as she was out with her dogs on a hike, she almost stepped on a rattlesnake – and that her brave dog, Todd, leaped forward to save her human from being bitten.
Her post went viral across social media platforms and netizens hailed the little pupper for his utmost bravery and prayed for his speedy recovery.
Paula updated about Todd’s condition on her Facebook on Sunday, and assured everyone that her little hero is recovering well.
After this life-changing incident, Godwin started a GoFundMe Page not for Todd but for other dogs who might financial help during a medical emergency.
