Apple treated its loyal fans with the launch of four new products at the Steve Jobs Theater in California, USA. The event started with the launch of the new Apple watch series 4. Apple CEO - Tim Cooke - then introduced three new iPhones - iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and the iPhone XR.

While Philip Schiller - Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Apple Inc. - described the features of the new phone, the internet was busy playing the naming game.

What’s In A Name?

People on the internet were rather eager to find the correct pronunciation of the new iPhones-some pronouncing the iPhone XS as ‘iPhone tennis’ and ‘iPhone excess’.

While the iPhone XS Max was being confused for the ‘iPhone tennis match’.

Some users also wanted to see a collaboration between Apple and the popular band INXS.
