Betrayal. Sadness. Remorse.
Sounds familiar, right?
The pain you feel when you tell your parents to buy you the presents you want and they end up always bailing on you is incomparable. A parrot named Rocco, felt the same pain and betrayal when his owner denied him his desire for watermelons, raisins, broccoli, ice cream, a light bulb and even a kite. We know its a rather odd wishlist, but the heart wants what it wants.
Although we’re not sure why he needed the light bulb and the kite we assume it must be for something devious. Prior to shopping online with the friendly help of Amazon’s Alexa, our little friend was re-homed from the National Animal Welfare Trust Sanctuary in Berkshire for going all ‘gangs-of-Wasseypur’ on the visitors!
That’s right! The staff was afraid that Rocco’s bad language would bother the guests and that made Marion Wischnewski, a worker at the sanctuary, volunteer to foster him and take him home in Oxfordshire. Wischnewski was quoted saying,
Her smart thinking made her put a parental lock on all Amazon purchases and therefore Rocco’s Christmas wishes remain unfulfilled.
Rocco is a wish come true for any owner, apparently he’s so good with Alexa that he uses it for playing music and telling jokes. And did we mention this lovely pet also doubles as a Dj and a is crowd pleaser?
We think you totally deserve all the raisins and melons, Rocco. Hang in there for a Christmas miracle!
