“Na Bhutto ka... Na Gandhi ka, yeh tera mera funda hai..”

In a fitting and beautiful response to Aisi Taisi Democracy — Rahul Ram’s take on the issues that continue to plague Indo-Pak relations, 68 years since Independence — Aisi Taisi Hypocrisy has explained that these very issues need to be put aside, in order for peace to prevail.

The video which was released in India, last week, explains how films and politics across the border have stereotyped the concept of the “enemy” — a concept which may have once been a part of political discourse, but has now become a mindset of sorts in both nations.

Even as the Foreign Offices of both countries are at logger heads in wake of NSA level talks being called off, it is these musicians who have proved to us once again that it is imperative that peace between the two countries must be given a chance for the sake of the future generations.

Here’s the video released by ‘Aisi Taisi Democracy’, an act headed by Rahul Ram, one of the members of the popular band Indian Ocean.
