Rang De Basanti star Siddharth already won us over a few months ago with his comments on ‘stalking’ and how the film industry has glorified and legitimized the act. In July, the star had tweeted out his opinions about the problematic gender roles portrayed in movies.

The truth is a lot of stalking in real life is inspired by what we show in our films. Too many examples of justification...When a woman stalks a man in our films she’s a vamp. When a man does it he is a hero. It’s a complicated discussion. But it needs to be had.
Siddharth

This time, he’s done it again. He tweeted out a photograph taken of a billboard which displays a Ranveer Singh advertisement and called out the brand, Jack & Jones, for the problematic depiction of women in workplaces. Have a look at his tweet.

On receiving flak for the advertisement, Jack & Jones tweeted saying they would take the billboard down. Next time, maybe put a team in place to red flag casual sexism in advertisements?
