You might think that Fanta and Mirinda have been around forever. But wait till you see what Junior Bachchan has to offer.

For those who can’t understand what Abhishek Bachchan’s tweet is all about, watch this advertisement:

Gold Spot was the like Fanta/Mirinda of the 70s. It was manufactured by Parle Bisleri in India, started by Ramesh Chauhan in 1977. It was discontinued in the 2000s after its subordinates like Fanta and Mirinda gained popularity.

Gold Spot - The Zing Thing, had a factory in Mumbai’s Parle West area and if you pass through it today, it’s bound to give you nostalgia.

Back in the day, schools used to organise factory tours for kids to Gold Spot’s factory as part of the annual picnic. It seems with Abhishek Bachchan’s tweet, a lot of 70s and 80s kids were reminded of the ‘gold’ old days.

Shweta Bachchan’s Reply to AB’s Tweet Is Every Elder Sister Ever!

’Em Good Old ‘Gold’ Feels...
