Monday was the day of two Jats. One conquered the reel world with his supernatural powers (A Flying Jatt), while the other made headlines in the real world and exercised his power to walk out a of the Upper House of the Parliament – Navjot Singh Sidhu.
Now is it just coincidence that the trailer of Tiger Shroff-starrer A Flying Jatt was released on the same day Sidhu resigned from the Rajya Sabha and BJP?
Rumour has it that Sidhu might soon join AAP and become the face of the Arvind Kejriwal-led party in Punjab. If the speculations are true, then AAP might have found their Flying Jatt in Sidhu.
For Kejriwal in Punjab, ‘Hope has a new name’ and it’s Sidhu!
Sidhu is just like Tiger Shroff (in the first-half of the trailer), who has not used his political heropanti to his full potential. The former cricketer needs an opportunity (read Punjab election) to show the country what he’s capable of and APP might be the party to provide him with the right platform (Punjab) to him.
What works for A Flying Jatt is Tiger Shroff’s machoism and his comic timing. And what might just work for AAP in Punjab is Sidhu’s cockiness and his various Sidhuisms.
If Sidhu does become AAP’s CM candidate, rest assured, his poll campaign would be nothing less than the Navjot Singh Sidhu Show (a heady mix of his comedy shows and cricket commentary). Kapil Sharma, you’ve got competition!

AAP must understand that once they name Sidhu as their CM candidate, a lot of people will probably mock their decision and refuse to believe in this Jatt. Kyunki bhai, sab mille hue hai!
But just like the trailer, the way Amrita Singh, the mother of the superhero, trains her son and teaches him different martial art forms, Kejriwal and Co. too must take it upon themselves to prepare Sidhu for the battle of kursi CM ki.
Oh guru, hoja shuru!
And if you still haven’t watched the trailer of A Flying Jatt, we suggest you do it NOW.
