Aaron Sorkin is probably the most famous writer working in Hollywood today.

His next film, Steve Jobs, whose trailer has just been released, is already getting a lot of traction. And in 2010, he wrote The Social Network, which earned him an Oscar. Sorkin also created the iconic political drama The West Wing.

But in this writer’s opinion, his finest work is the television series The Newsroom, which ran for three seasons, from 2012 to 2014. It stars Jeff Daniels as Will McAvoy, the star anchor and editor of Atlantis Cable News. The show revolves around him, but also features an ensemble cast, all of them playing journalists in the hunt for the next big story.

Sorkin being Sorkin, the show is a bit preachy, but as many journalists will tell you, it also features some fantastic set pieces. Here are ten quotes from the show.

1. Vision.

2. Opinion.

3. Commitment.

4. Audacity.

5. Foolishness.
