Tennis Royalty Serena Williams Visits Meghan’s Royal Newborn

Look who visited the newest royalty on the recently? The tennis royalty, Serena Williams!

According to a report in Daily Mail, Meghan Markle’s old friend and our favourite tennis star, Serena Williams paid a quick visit to Markle’s newborn, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. She dropped in at Frogmore Cottage, the royal resident of Duke and Duchess of Sussex, to visit Archie right before heading for Paris to participate in the French Open Tournament. She was also accompanied by her husband, Alexis Ohanian, and one-year-old daughter, Olympia.

Although Archie is a only few weeks old, the infant is already the centre of media and celebrity attention. Serena posted a picture not revealing, however, her whereabouts.

Back in February this year, Williams also helped in organising Meghan Markle’s baby shower and even co-hosted the event. She later revealed that it was too much pressure for her to organise an event for the royal family - being the perfectionist that she is.

Is this a sign that Serena Williams will be the godmother to the royal newborn? Well, only time will tell.

But till then, since Meghan Markle has some superstar friends owing to her career, we can’t wait to see how much more star studded the baby’s arrival will get to be, in the coming days for the royal family.
