India hasn’t kept its nukes for Diwali, says PM Modi.
And here’s a live footage of his fans after he said this.
The war mongering, oops election campaigning does not stop at this.
Here’s what Mehbooba Mufti said in response.
Such tough, much wow. Both leaders’ fans’ josh will certainly be very high following this.
Who cares if this rhetoric actually starts a war? It’s not like it’s going to happen in our neighbourhood, right? Oh wait... *cue sound of crickets.
Guys, the world already has a President who talks about war as though he is Sunny Deol in Border.
And our South Asia certainly doesn’t need any more tensions.
Luckily there are some who are calling out this election induced jingoistic campaigning.
But you know what?
The PM and Mehbooba Mufti are actually right. Nukes are not meant for Diwali or even Eid. They are for one and one special day alone - Dooms Day.
Which seems closer than ever, thanks to statements like these.
Because the last time one country said Happy Diwali.. I mean happy nuke attack to another, it’s impact was deadly.
More than 2 lakh people died. And even though it happened roughly 75 years ago, the impact can still be felt in Hiroshima and Nagasaki to this day
So dear war mongers, please think about it! Oh, I am sorry: Think..??? What’s that??
