The other day I was just going through my phone and I saw a picture of the Made in Heaven show. What caught my attention was that they weren’t even wearing real jewellery!

The show is nice but how much have they insulted the South Delhiites! We aren’t all like this, you see. We don’t throw so much money.

My fourth cousin Kiara, clubbed two wedding events together! I’ve told dad not to get my fiance Adhiraj a car because he’s already got them all. We’ll get him a yacht.

A marriage is so much more than a wedding, but let’s be honest, if the wedding isn’t ‘lit’, then your marriage isn’t a hit.

People in South Delhi also have low-key weddings with only a couple of hundred guests. In defense of the extravagant sangeet – it’s not like we can plonk a TV in front of guests for their entertainment, can we? Hence the singers and the dancers are called to breathe some life into the mehmaans.

And let’s face it, if the Ambanis can bring a Beyonce, we can have our DJ session with Badsha.

Wouldn’t you imagine all South Delhi people to talk like this?

We all know, that no other city does weddings like Delhi does because where else will we find people, who like to throw unexplained amounts of cash on a wedding that is solely planned for the happiness of samaaj?
