‘Diet Prada’ took over Instagram in 2014 with the simple aim of calling out designers and stylists who copied the original designs.

Recently, Diet Prada broke the internet by calling out photographers who were asking women to share ‘nudes’ for a photoshoot.

According to Diet Prada in its Instagram account, a Los Angeles-based model and interior design student, posted a screenshot of celebrity photographer Marcus Hyde. Hyde was seen persisting the model to send her nudes in return for a photo shoot.

The model had replied to Hyde’s Instagram story inviting models for a shoot. After the screenshots of the conversation went viral, the photographer shut his Instagram account.

Marcus Hyde has previously worked with celebrities like Kim Kardashian West and Ariana Grande. According to W Magazine, Kim and Kanye West even helped him with a whooping amount of $25,000 during the time he was injured in a car crash while working on a shoot.

Soon people started expecting statements from both Kim and Grande about the photographer’s predatory behavior. Both Kardashian and Grande posted a story about the incident on their respective Instagram accounts.

Twitterati had a mixed reaction on the statements.

This news has not only shocked the fashion industry but has even made us think twice about the photographers and artists who’s work we admire. More power to the women who have called the men out.
