When Super 30 Fame Anand Kumar Said ‘No’ to Anand Mahindra

Anand Mahindra has revealed that teacher Anand Kumar of Super 30 fame once refused his financial support

Anand Kumar, the inspiration for Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 character had once said ‘no’ to Anand Mahindra.

And the reason for it has now been revealed to us courtesy an interview the former recently gave to PTI.

While speaking about the allegation of taking cuts from coaching centres which were levelled against him, Anand Kumar had said,

There are people who are talking negatively about me. I do not take any grant or donation from anyone. Our Prime Minister, business tycoons like Mukesh Ambani or Anand Mahindra have offered donation but I haven’t accepted anything. I meet everyone but I do not take money from anyone.

This has now been confirmed by Anand Mahindra himself. The Mahindra boss recently posted this on Twitter.

The confirmation has only deepened the respect for Anand Kumar in the hearts of these Twitteratis.

Even Mr. Mahindra was lauded for acknowledging Anand Kumar’s decision and not letting his ego get in the way!

On a side note, the Anand-Anand camaraderie is getting lots of love on the platform too!
