Born on 11 October 1942, Amitabh Bachchan turns 77 years old this year. Of those seven decades, five of them have been spent becoming the Bollywood legend we know today. He made his film debut in Saat Hindustani in 1969 and won his first Filmfare award for Best Actor in 1977 for Amar Akbar Anthony. He was awarded a Padma Shri, and made a short-lived foray into politics too.
