When religious divide was tearing France apart in the 16th century, a doctor and a soothsayer brought the country together. The prophecies that were made by him have survived centuries and are still being repeated to make sense of the world. The world might as well be NostraDAMNED, I say.
That’s right, I’m talking about the mighty French seer and astrologer, Nostradamus. He was an early example of how the lure of knowing what the future holds for man is a universal glue. Now, some would regard Nostradamus as ‘hocus pocus’, equating him to the likes of your run-of-the-mill Tota, Jyothish, tarot reader, crystal ball gazer... but I think the man was a genius. In the last 400 years, 800 of his predictions have been rendered true. The guy was practically Google, for the future.
Plus, you’ve got to be a complete hypocrite if you believe in Sola Somvaar and not him (yes friends, these are the rules of the occult).
So Babaji (that’s what I will affectionately refer to him, hereon), predicted the following prophecies for India apart from the ones we already know.
Nostradamus predicted the unforgiving Mumbai floods before the Mausam Vibhaag was even invented. Needless to say, The BMC were skeptics and didn’t believe him. Damnus 1, BMC 0. Auto waalas 1000.
Before our unhealthy obsession with Taimur Ali Khan began, here’s looking at this prophecy by Nostradamus, which clearly mentions how all of social media will be enchanted by an infant whose power will know no bounds. Coincidence? I think not.
Nostradamus foresaw the rise of Diljit! If it weren’t for Diljit Dosanj, would we have ever have known how to break a five star hotel after a break-up, eh?
If you flip through his almanacs, you’re bound to encounter more such fascinating and absolutely accurate prophecies.
I wonder whether he could’ve predicted the result of the 2019 General Elections. But maybe that would’ve been a tough one to see, even for him.
