The Vrikshabandhan wave has swept the country this Raksha Bandhan! School children across India have taken a pledge to protect trees this Rakhi - a pledge they have cemented by tying rakhis to trees. The photos below are of school kids from New Delhi, Lucknow, Gurugram, Hyderabad - among many others.

The Quint, along with the campaigners of ‘My Right To Breathe’, are celebrating Vrikshabandhan – a bond between us and the trees – and are encouraging you to do the same.
