Dear Soldier, I Followed In My Dad’s Footsteps & Joined the Forces

My father never feared anything.

Dear soldier,

My father too was just like you. Brave, compassionate and loyal. He is my hero. He never feared anything and when my mom was expecting at the age of 19, he left her to complete his call of duty across the border in Sri Lanka as a part of peacekeeping force. He was awarded a Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) for his bravery.

I too have followed in my father’s footsteps and joined the Armed Forces!

I salute him and all soldiers of our defence forces for all their sacrifices.
