The International Trade Fair is held every year from 14 November to 27 November at Pragati Maidan in Delhi. This year in 2019, the 39th Trade Fair has been kickstarted.
The entry of general people started from 19 November in the biggest international trade fair. The timing for the entry will be from 9:30 am till 5 pm. The last day of the trade fair is on 27 November.
This time the theme which has been kept in the Trade Fair is ‘Ease of Doing Business’. Theme pavilion is also decorated in hall number 7. This time, theme-based companies will also be participating in the trade fair.
Meghalaya has not been given a chance to participate in the trade fair this time, whereas, in total 38 states have been given place to participate in the fair.
This year the trade fair will be completely plastic-free. People coming to the fair will not be allowed to use any product or goods which contains plastic.
Tickets for business and general days for IITF are available from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm at 66 metro stations except for Pragati Maidan. Visitors can also buy tickets online. Check here for more information.
Keeping in view the crowd in the trade fair, the traffic police have issued an advisory. According to the traffic police, during the fair, it is advised not to pass through Bhairav Road, Ring Road, Purana Qila and Mathura Road. People may have to face heavy jams on these roads.
According to the Delhi Police Advisory, no vehicles will be provided parking on Mathura Road and Bhairav Road. At the same time, vehicles will not get parking on Sher Shah Road, Purana Qila and Bhagwan Das Road. If people park their vehicles on these particular roads, then the vehicle will be held in custody by the traffic police and the concerned person will be fined.
People can park their vehicles at Bhairav Mandir where they will be charged for the parking accordingly. Paid parking is also built near Delhi zoo, Masjid Zabta Ganj near Mansingh road, Defence building near Mansingh road, science building and behind IGI art centre.
Let us tell you that all u-turns on Mathura Road will be closed. W and T points have been closed on the Subramaniam Bharati route and left turn has been temporarily blocked on Mathura Road and Old Fort Road.
