If you fancy your beef steaks and you live in Mumbai, we are sorry for your loss. We feel the pain.

President Pranab Mukherjee has signed the Maharashtra Animal Preservation Bill, nearly 19 years after the Maharashtra Assembly passed the Bill during BJP-Shiv Sena rule in 1995.

Meanwhile, beef lovers all across India beefed up their sarcasm meter on social media, disapproving the ban.
