Sonam Kapoor channelised her inner Sridevi while walking the ramp for designer label Ralph & Russo’s 2017 fall/winter collection at the Paris Fashion Week.

Of course, the heavily embroidered peplum gown with that sheer veil was spectacular, but I am not going to bore you with the same adjectives you've been reading in all fashion-related copies all your life.

Instead, I want to draw your attention to something else. Just look at this and tell me Sonam’s look wasn’t inspired by her taiji, Sridevi.

I strongly suspect the idea for Sonam’s diamond headgear and choker piece came from carefully studying Sridevi’s looks in ‘Chandni’ and ‘Himmatwala’.

Jokes apart, it is kind of a big deal to have Sonam walk for a fast-rising brand that’s a red-carpet favourite with so many celebrities.
