Potter fans are in for yet another treat!
In an earnings statement, Bloomsbury on Tuesday announced two new Harry Potter books in association with the British Exhibition, ‘A History of Magic’, that will open in October 2017 and run through February 2018. The books will be published simultaneously in October and will mark the 20th anniversary of the publication of the first Harry Potter book.
The two new books are Harry Potter: A History of Magic–The Book of the Exhibition and Harry Potter–A Journey Through A History of Magic. The former will introduce readers to the subjects studied at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, while the latter will explore various elements of the Potter universe, including alchemy, ancient witchcraft, and magical creatures.
Bloomsbury India tweeted the covers the books on Wednesday.
The announcement follows the reveal of new artwork from inside the illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, that is to come out in October 2017 as well. It also follows the news of a fully-illustrated edition of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, illustrated by Olivia Lomenech Gill, that is to come out later in 2017, according to Pottermore.
