In December 2000, TV18 hired someone who would go on to become one of India’s most-recognisable face on Indian News Television. It was Shereen Bhan. Shereen at that point of time was producing a show for BBC, she was interviewed for a producer’s job in CNBC-TV18. But Raghav Bahl & RayC saw a potential TV anchor in Shereen, she gave an excellent audition and came onboard.

Over the last 16 years, Shereen has gone on to become the Managing Editor of CNBC-TV18. In the book ‘Network 18 – The Audacious Story of a Start-up That became a Media Empire’, Shereen reveals how Raghav was not just a boss but a mentor as well. Raghav’s feedback played a critical role in her growth in her initial years as an anchor and journalist.
