What makes Durjoy Datta click? How did he come upon the idea of proposing to his then-girlfriend, now-wife Avantika Mohan, through a Twitter hashtag?
“She always wanted a huge, romantic gesture and I’m no good at those. So I asked Twitter to help!” laughs Datta, as he recalls how the proposal turned out to be a damp squib! Datta also talks honestly about how he knows his books are “commercial fiction – although I hope to write literary fiction at some point in my life”.
