New Delhi, May 21 (IANS) Jharkhand's child rights body on Monday asked Delhi Police to submit, within a week, a detailed report on the gruesome murder case of a 16-year-old housemaid by her employer here.
The Jharkhand State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (JSCPCR), in its notice to Delhi Police, asked for details on the investigation of the the place, where the incident took place with photographs, and the report made under section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC).
Police have also been asked to submit the post-mortem report of the victim.
The maid was killed, over two weeks back, after she demanded her salary from the person who brought her from Jharkhand to get her employed as a domestic help in Delhi.
later, her body was chopped into several pieces and dumped into a drain, from where they were found.
