Melinda Gates, Co-founder of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, is clearly very impressed with Kalki Koechlin’s work in the realm of feminism. She wrote a letter to the actress, commending her efforts for women empowerment.
The letter also mentions Kalki’s poem, The Printing Machine, which she had written, performed and released as a YouTube video earlier in January.
In her letter, Melinda Gates mentions ‘The Townhall’, Barkha Dutt’s show where both Gates and Kalki Koelchin had appeared in March to talk about discrimination and violence against women.
Kalki shared an image of the letter on her Instagram account on 26 April.
