Delhi Govt Responds to The Quint’s Campaign

We thank The Quint for bringing 4-year-old rape survivor’s matter to our notice. A senior officer from the State Ministry of Women and Child Development spoke to the doctors of Safdurjung Hospital where the child was admitted. The officer compiled a report and submitted to the minister on Friday (this) evening. The report says that the child needs another surgery and her medical condition is serious. It has also come to our knowledge that family is really poor. The ministry will soon decide on the report and pass on maximum help to the family.
Delhi Government Spokesperson

The Delhi government has applauded The Quint’s campaign and decided to provide all the possible support to Choti Nirbhaya.
