Celeb Couple Calls It Quits: Nandita Das To Divorce Subodh Maskara

The year 2016 wasn't very nice for a few celebrity couples, and it seems that 2017 is set to repeat its predecessor. According to reports, Nandita Das and Subodh Maskara seem to have parted ways after seven years of marriage. This would be Nandita’s second divorce.

Nandita confirmed the news when she was contacted by DNA.

Yes, it is true. Subodh and I have decided to separate. Thankfully, it is very amicable. Our son is our foremost priority and as parents of a delightful and sensitive child we request that his and our privacy be respected. There’s nothing to hide and there’s nothing more to be said.

Das and Maskara have a six-year-old son, Vihaan. In reference to him, she had added, "Separation is never easy, more so if you have a child. For us, our son is our main concern and we are committed to ensuring his well-being."

Previously, she was married to Saumya Sen, and they separated in 2007.
