Madhya Pradesh Governor and the former CM of Gujarat visited Kasturba Girls’ Hostel near Bhopal on Thursday. Her visit was supposed to instill the young women with the confidence and courage to pursue dreams like she did so that they too can become lawmakers or doctors or engineers or anything they wished.

Instead of pumping their confidence, Patel said that women should excel in studies but ‘should not leave the kitchen’. She further added that “every girl must know how to make the perfect ‘daal’ to impress her mother-in-law”.

Her ‘suggestions’ were not taken very well by Quint NEON’s ‘Buri Ladki’. She loves short hair, she doesn’t like cooking. For her marriage isn’t a priority and she prefers donuts over daal.

Despite the above she is successful and confident, thank you very much.
