World pharmacist day is celebrated on 25 September every year globally with an aim to raise awareness about the importance of the chemists around the world and appreciate their selfless contribution in the healthcare industry.

Their contribution has often been overlooked by the people but these frontline workers were the ones who were ready to help us round the clock during the pandemic.

This day also marks the day of establishment of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical(FIP) back in the year 1912.
