Preparing for the Class 10 and 12 Board exams can be an extremely stressful period in a student’s life. From the pressure to get high marks to the expectation to do well, handling all that stress can be quite a pain.
In recent years, everyone from doctors to celebrities has spoken about easing this pressure students face. Joining them this year, is Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose newly launched book ‘Exam Warriors’ advises students on how to handle examination stress.
Through 25 crisp mantras, the book reportedly addresses issues like overcoming exam stress, keeping one's composure during exams and even what to do after the exams get over.
There’s also an activity at the end of each chapter, the report said. For example, a chapter titled “It’s your time – make the most of it” asks students to make their “own timetable” by filling up a “24-hour clock with your daily activities”.
There are also messages for parents and teachers.
The tone and tenor of the work is informal and conversational. The publisher Penguin Random House said the book states why it is important to prioritise knowledge over marks and how to take responsibility for the future.

The thought to write this book reportedly came after Modi’s Mann ki Baat episode in January 2017 was well-received by students and parents alike.
