Yoga is one of the most popular things India has gifted to the world. 21 June is celebrated as International Day of Yoga globally.

Politicians, celebrities, school children and Indian embassies in several countries marked the day by performing yoga asanas to promote the health benefits that yoga provides. Yoga is as much about mental well-being as it is about physical fitness.

Actress Kangana Ranuat posted videos of her doing yoga. Her postures and flexibility are quite impressive!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the celebrations at Forrest Reserve Institute in Dehradun in front of 50,000 people.

This yoga session at 18,000 ft above sea level takes the cake! Personnel of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police did surya namaskar in Ladakh.

Through her Instagram post, actress Shilpa Shetty told her followers about the benefits of pranayam or breathing exercises in yoga.

Actress Rakhi Sawant is seen doing what looks like hot yoga. "Hot yoga" is used to describe any yoga or yoga-inspired fitness styles that are performed under hot and humid conditions. This leads to profuse sweating and is said to help with weight loss.
