Russian Yoga teacher Marina Vovchenko led a class of about 25 people in a 'beer yoga' session in Moscow, with participants of the yoga class drinking and making use of the alcohol beverage as part of their stretching exercises.

The novel style of yoga first appeared in 2014 at the Burning Man art festival in the United States. There were previously only two schools of beer yoga in the world, located in Berlin, Germany and Sydney, Australia.
