Popeye was right, spinach is an elixir of health. It is replete with nutrients, minerals, vitamins and much more. We have all heard the countless health benefits of spinach umpteen times with scientific research backing the claims. But none of it takes away from the fact that spinach is boring, bland and definitely not the first choice of food after a grueling day at work.

Yes, spinach improves the quality of blood, increases vitality and restores energy, but it is not tasty. Yes, it is a great source of antioxidants and fiber. But isn’t it a sick man’s food? Yes, it is rich in iron, a good source of vitamin K, A, C, B2, folic acid. But it is not mouth-watering. So what if it does wonders to hair and skin and still lies low in calories? It certainly is not inviting.

So how do you make that spinach interesting? No one is suggesting you do a Popeye and chug cold raw spinach straight out of a can.

But here’s how you can have that healthy spinach and make it taste good.
