On Thursday, Virushka fans woke up to a sweet surprise, and us media with a ‘breaking news’ ticker – ‘Dil phir dhadakne do!’ Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma out on a dinner date in Bandra. From the way they were dressed up, to their body language, everything was dissected by Virushka loyalists.
It took just one meal to settle all the acidity of their alleged break-up rumours. Come to think of it, it worked faster than Eno also! But we at The Quint always knew Virat-Anushka never broke up. They might have taken some ‘me-time’ but they were always a ‘couple’.
We know, you don’t believe us, but we have evidences that prove they were always in luurrrvveee and very much together.
We all know the process of breakups, beginning from denial to giving a f*** and then partying hard with friends. But Virat needed no such stuff. Arre bhai, he never broke-up! Virat was the perfect adarsh balak, who spend quality time with family and babies, watched the WT20 alone, clicked selfies and shamed trolls for attacking Anushka.
Virat’s ‘pure and pious’ timeline proves his love for Anushka.
We live in era of official statements that are issued by celebrities left, right and centre. There is an official statement when you get married, separated, have a baby, quit films, go to Hollywood or turn vegetarian or even release a statement to announce upcoming official statements.
But Virat and Anushka played no such ‘statements’ game. They let the world guess and maintained a poker face. Sometimes, silence speaks louder than words.
Training hard is an essence behind every successful sports person. And who better to understand this than Virat himself. So the cricketer did exactly that. He let Anushka train hard as a wrestler for her upcoming sports-flick Sultan.
Honestly, nobody would want to mess with a woman who learnt wrestling and is now friends with Salman Khan. Would you?
Even while the two were apart it was the messages that kept them together. After every fabulous innings, Kohli received a congratulatory SMS from his lady love.
And this is not normal behaviour if you’ve just broken up. Remember, the first step under ‘how to get over your break-up’ guide is to cut-off all kind of communications?
But kya kare dil hai ki manta nahi!
