Actor Irrfan Khan believes that insecurity is inherent in the profession of entertainment. Director Sajid Khan encourages newcomers to try their luck in Bollywood, but know when to quit if plans don’t work out. The recent tragic suicide committed by struggling model-actor Shikha Joshi has shocked Mumbai and the entertainment industry as a whole.

The 40 year old was found bleeding to death after having slit her throat. The reason behind her reported suicide is believed to be insecurity and depression, caused by a long period of unemployment. Her story makes one think- how long should one wait before tinsel town dreams turn into reality?

There’s not a single film or TV celebrity who hasn’t gone through a period of struggle. Irrfan Khan and Sajid Khan managed to make their mark in the industry after several years of trying and making their peace with the offers they got.
