The late TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee left her family, friends and her fans in shock after news of her suicide first came on 1st April, last year. Her best friend and TV actress, Kamya Punjabi, who was a prominent voice during investigations around Pratyusha’s suicide, has a special dedication for her, one year after her death.

Kamya has announced the release of a short film in which she had acted with Pratyusha, as a tribute on her first death anniversary. She has released a teaser of the short film, which is titled - Hum Kucch Keh Na Sakey, to give us a peek into what the film is about.

The video shows Pratyusha fighting with a man called Rahul. Rahul also happens to be the name of Pratyusha’s boyfriend, who was caught up in a series of controversies post her death. He was even blamed for torture and was cited as the reason behind her inclination towards substance abuse. Being a girl from Jamshedpur and having had a pretty successful stint on television, her demise was full of absurdity and questions.

Kamya Punjabi does not want to reveal too much information about Pratyusha’s last film before its launch on 1 April, apart from the fact that she’s releasing it for her parents. Kamya also told us that all proceeds from the film will go to Pratyusha’s parents. While Kamya is only releasing the film, it is a Stay Tuned Media presentation.

Kamya Punjabi, who is currently seen in the popular show Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, was very close to the deceased actress, who shot to fame with her role in Balika Vadhu. She claims that this film holds a special message from Pratyusha for everyone.
