Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 11 finally got its first crorepati in Bihar's Sanoj Raj. Even though he failed to get the right answer of the jackpot question worth Rs 7 crore, Sanoj is happy about winning a crore.
He says he considers the money to be his father's. "My father is a farmer. It is not about giving money to him. It is his money," he said. The question that made Sanoj a crorepati was: "The father of which Chief Justice of India was once chief minister of an Indian state?"
After KBC host Amitabh Bachchan was called out on social media for his sexist remarks on the show, Sanoj Raj also came out in defence of the actor saying that it was all in good humour.
On Friday, Amitabh Bachchan was called out on social media for making sexist remarks on the show, especially when Sanoj won. Apparently, Bachchan cracked a joke implying that women are gold-diggers.
A Twitter user narrated the entire incident in detail. According to the user, Big B cracked a “sexist and misogynistic joke.”
He wrote, “For those who haven't seen today's episode, there was this contestant who has never had a girl in his life. He goes onto win Rs 1 crore through his brilliant all-around knowledge. Reacting to this, Big B said, "Now girls will get attracted to you saying, 'Karodpati ji, main aapki KarodPATNI banna chahti hoon.' (Mr Crorepati, I’d like to be your crore-patni)“
