BB16 Premiere Updates: Sreejita De Calls Former Co-star Tina Datta 'Dominating'
Salman Khan told viewers that this time the 'Bigg Boss' will also be in the house.

Bigg Boss is back with its 16th season and Salman Khan has returned as the host. The premiere episode introduced viewers to the contestants for this season.

Salman Khan Introduces the First Two Contestants: Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Abdu Rozik
Salman introduced Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, who is known for her lead role in Choti Sarrdaarni. Ahluwalia stepped onto the stage with blindfolds because she only wanted to see Salman before entering the house.
The actors later performed a legal skit with Salman.
Abdu Rozik was the next contestant to enter the house but before that, he and Salman bonded over a love for vada pav and there was also a reference to the viral 'boorgir' meme featuring Rozik.
'Udaariyaan' Stars Priyanka and Ankit Groove to 'Nach Punjaban'
Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta, who played Tejo and Fateh in Udaariyaan, lit the stage on fire with their dance performance to 'Nach Punjaban'.
The duo then played a fun quiz and had a staring contest, which Priyanka won. Meanwhile, Rozik and Nimrit got acquainted with the house.
'P-Town Ke Basti ka Masti' MC Stan in the House!
Rapper MC Stan talked about how he's not in the house for money or fame. He also talked about how controversies have followed him around for a while and he wants to use the Bigg Boss stint as a chance to 'detox'.
He revealed that his mother bought a TV for Rs 70,000 to watch him on it. When asked what he thinks Bigg Boss' game is going to be like, MC Stan said, "I've come to play because Bigg Boss is playing."
Archana Gautam and Gautam Vig Recreate a 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun!' Scene
Model-Actor Archana Gautam was at her candid best on the Bigg Boss 16 stage. She also talked about her experience as an MLA. Archana told the actor that she isn't afraid of anything other than becoming 'attached' to someone.
Salman then introduced Archana and the audience to the next contestant Gautam Vig aka 'TV ka Hrithik Roshan'. Archana and Gautam also recreated a scene from Hum Aapke Hain Koun! originally picturised on Salman and Madhuri Dixit.
Shalin Bhanot Wants To Be the Next 'Superstar'; Nimrit Is Called to the Confession Room
Before he entered the main house, actor Shalin Bhanot talked about how he wants to be the next superstar and has been a Salman fan for a while. Soundarya Sharma, who made her entry to 'Aafat' from Liger, told the host that she's an alpha female.
Meanwhile, back at the house, Bigg Boss called Nimrit into the confession room and told her that he's dissatisfied with the way she's performing the task assigned to her.
'Bigg Boss Marathi 2' Winner Shiv Thakare Enters 'Bigg Boss 16'
Shiv Thakare, who won the second season of Bigg Boss Marathi is now set to try and work his magic on Bigg Boss 16. He hopes that the reality show will help him fulfill his dreams.
'Imlie' Actor Sumbul Touqeer Khan
Sumbul Touqeer, who is known for her roles in Imlie, remarked that her name sounds similar to Salman's character Chulbul and even hilariously mimicked how the actor behaves during 'Weekend ka Vaar' episodes.
Sumbul's father also came on stage and said that his family's dream came true.
Miss India Runner-up Manya Singh Says She Only Booked One Commercial After the Win
Former Miss India runner-up Manya Singh joined Salman Khan on the Bigg Boss stage and opened up about how her career hasn't truly taken off after her win. She talked about how her father still drives a rickshaw to earn a living.
Salman Khan Meets Haryana's Shakira
The next contestant to join the show is 'Haryana's Shakira', Gori Nagori. The dancer told the host that her family doesn't support her career but she has decided to focus on herself.
Salman and Gori Nagori also delighted viewers with a dance performance.
On-screen Rivals Tina Datta and Sreejita De Grace the 'Bigg Boss' Stage
Actor Tina Datta brought sweets for Salman Khan to celebrate Durga Puja. She told Salman that she's open to finding love in the Bigg Boss 16 house.
The host showed a video of Sreejita De talking about how she and Tina used to be friends earlier but their relationship has soured over time. She said that she believes Tina is 'dominating'.
The duo worked together on Uttaran.
Is Sajid Khan a Contestant on 'Bigg Boss 16'?
In 2018, Sajid Khan was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple people and his participation in Bigg Boss has led to the show receiving flak online.
Sajid Khan walked on to stage pretending that he wasn't a part of the show this season but eventually admitted that he's entering the Bigg Boss 16 house as a contestant.
Salman Khan talked about how he and Sajid were both trained by Honey Irani and recalled memories from those days. Sajid opened up about how he hasn't had work in four years and also said that sometimes he wishes he could go back and 'erase' his old interviews.
'Bigg Boss' Fights Are Back; a Long-Standing Tradition is No More
As contestants entered the Bigg Boss house and started to get acquainted, there was already tension in the air. Archana Gautam got into an argument with Nimrit over room allocation and also urged Bigg Boss to send in her remaining luggage.
In the promo, Bigg Boss also revealed that the 'morning alarm' that is synonymous with the show, will no longer be a part of the contestant's routine.
On stage, Sajid Khan didn't address the sexual misconduct allegations against him and blamed his hiatus from the industry on his 'arrogance'.
