Here’s When ‘A Little Late With Lilly Singh’ Will Air In India

Popular YouTuber and influencer Lilly Singh has become the first woman of colour to host a late night television show. A Little Late with Lilly Singh premiered in the United States on 16 September and while clips have been released on YouTube, Lilly’s Indian fans can catch full episodes of the talk show on Star World from Saturday, 21 September at 8pm.

Lilly shared the news on Instagram, saying that she had advocated for the show to be aired in India ever since she was brought on board. “India, what’s good?! I’ll tell you what’s good. Since day one of @latewithlilly I emphasised the importance of my show being available in the motherland. And I’m happy to announce that starting September 21 at 8pm #LateWithLilly will be airing on @StarWorldIndia. Thank you for your continuous support. I appreciate you so so much,” she wrote.

Actor and comedian Mindy Kaling and The Office co-star Rainn Wilson, fellow talkshow host Chelsea Handler, Blackish actor Tracee Ellis Ross and Kenan Thompson feature as guests on the premiere episode of A Little Late With Lilly Singh. The following week, audiences can look forward to appearances by Christina Aguilera and the cast of This Is Us.

Lilly Singh gained fame through her YouTube channel, which she started in 2010 under the moniker ||superwoman||. She is also the author of bestselling book How to be a Bawse: A Guide to Conquering Life, and has appeared in films such as Dr Cabbie, Ice Age: Collision Course and Bad Moms.
