We all know what the most signature aspect of Yash Chopra’s films has been. The scenic beauty of Switzerland of course! His love for its meadows and snow peaks is not well known just in Bollywood, but even the Swiss acknowledge it.
Recently, the Swiss government decided to honour the late filmmaker with the installation of his bronze statue in the scenic city of Interlaken. Yash Chopra’s wife Pamela Chopra accompanied by his daughter-in-law Rani Mukerji, unveiled the special statue of the veteran filmmaker leaning on a film camera, deep in thought.
Swiss government officials were seen clapping and cheering, as the ladies smile with joy.
