1. Shilpa Shetty’s Father Passes Away

Actress and TV host, Shilpa Shetty’s dad Surendra Shetty, passed away on Tuesday. He had a heart attack and he reportedly breathed his last in his sleep. Shetty was known to be a man full of life and was very close to Shilpa.

The cremation will be held on Wednesday morning. Raveena Tandon, Harman Baweja and R Madhavan were among those who visited the Shettys to offer their condolences.

The trailer of Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor starrer Befikre is finally out and it looks absolutely amazing. The movie seems to be a romcom where Ranveer and Vani are navigating within the boundaries of a ‘friends with benefits’ situation. Both the actors are seen sharing a good chemistry. The movie is set to release on 9 December. The trailer was released at the Eiffel Tower in Paris with the city's mayor, Anne Hidalgo along with the leads Ranveer and Vaani.

4. On His Birthday, Big B Lauds Sacrifices Made By Armed Forces

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, who turned 74 on 11 October, addressed the media at his home in Juhu, Mumbai, on Tuesday morning. Bachchan referred to the tension at the border and paid tribute to the sacrifices made by jawans “to ensure our safety”.

When asked about the issue of banning Pakistani actors from working in India, Bachchan refused to comment on the controversy. He also laughed off actor Shatrughan Sinha’s remark that Bachchan should be made the next President of India.

5. Celebs Mourn Parmeshwar Godrej’s Death Via Twitter

The passing away of style icon, socialite and philanthropist Parmeshwar Godrej came as a shock to several of her friends and acquaintances. 70-year-old Godrej was suffering from a lung ailment and breathed her last in Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on Monday night.

According to reports, the socialite was cremated on Monday night itself. There has been an outpouring of condolences to the Godrej family on Twitter from her celeb friends who also fondly remembered her.
