SS Rajamouli Had Confirmed There Will Be a ‘Baahubali 3’

Rajamouli took to Twitter to clarify that ‘Baahubali 3’ will not be a continuation of the first two films.

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali 2 has had a fantastic response at the box-office. The film has been declared the biggest blockbuster ever in Indian cinema. Amidst all this, the director has hinted at the possibility of making Baahubali 3.

He also spoke about being honest to the story when asked about it at a promotional event recently.

Because we have the market and if we make a film for the market without having a compelling story, that would not be honest filmmaking. But if my father comes up with a compelling story, like he did before, we can always make it.

Back in 2015, Rajamouli had announced that Baahubali 3 is on the cards. And it will not be a continuation of the first two films.

Looks like it is time to return to his resolve to make Baahubali 3, but yes, do get a compelling story in place first.
