Feeling ‘Raees’ Has Nothing To Do With Being Rich: Shah Rukh Khan
SRK admits to dancing at weddings for money, but says that being rich has nothing to do with feeling ‘Raees’.

At the recent trailer launch of Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees, the actor spoke about several aspects of the film, including his take on what its title really means. A journalist made the observation that king Khan announced Raees shortly after appearing on a ‘richest actors of the world’ list. SRK laughed it off to say that having money has nothing to do with feeling ‘raees’.
As an example, Shah Rukh Khan added that he had to dance at a high profile wedding to be able to make Happy New Year (2014), a film that did average business at the box office. His point being - money comes and goes, but you can feel raees or abundant, even if you have very little money. If you can give unconditionally, you’ll always feel raees.
