In an interview with a leading English daily, Shah Rukh Khan has revealed that he’s in the process of remaking the hit American TV series, Breaking Bad, as a Bollywood movie. Khan says that the TV audience wouldn’t be able to accept the drug and violence which is a central premise of the show.

Leaving nothing to speculation, when the Dilwale star was quizzed if he would take up the role of Walter White, the protagonist, he was prompt to say that “great films don’t work without me, darling”.

Shah Rukh Khan as Walter White is confirmed. But what about the rest of the star cast? We let our imagination race and given the film a working title of Bure Bhatke. We have also thought of best suited stars to make the adaptation a power-packed one.

Shah Rukh Khan as Walter White

The monologues. The intense looks. We are definitely looking forward to King Khan’s chemistry classes.

Ranbir Kapoor as Jesse Pinkman

This sharp, edgy yet vulnerable character deserves Ranbir Kapoor’s charm throughout.

Tabu as Skyler White

Skylar can be easily pulled off by Tabu, who has proven her mettle to play one televisions strongest women characters.

Irrfan Khan as Gus Fring

A calm gangster. A corporate honcho with an extremely complex personality. Don’t you also see why Irrfan Khan is the prefect choice?

Anupam Kher as Mike Ehrmentraut

The actor has to be intense, with a significant screen presence, and we bet our money on Anupam Kher for this. Agree?

Richa Chadha as Marie Schrader

Richa Chadha has the right persona to play the natural, yet damaged Marie. She’s emotional and strong, and puts up a brave front.

Boman Irani as Hank Schrader

Boman Irani can easily fit into any role. He has done comedy, action and negative roles. Plus, Irani and Shah Rukh Khan share a wonderful chemistry which would add spark to the Walter White-Hank Schrader scenes.

This is us thinking out loud. We hope Shah Rukh Khan and his production team are listening.
